These are the classic and sought after vertical input models. Do your own research.
I had these as a stereo stage rig back in the day. Huge sounding and LOUD! You will never have any issues hearing yourself on stage with these puppy’s! But they are also Master volume amps, so played loud or more conservatively, you can still get a great crunch and gain at much lower volumes with these classic amplifiers.
This is the classic 6-knob JCM800 circuit that came to define the sound of rock in the 1980s.
Most players just know and use these amps for the famous 80’s gain tones. And it’s a great sound. But these amps really have the best of both Worlds. On top of the renowned crunch and grind of the atypical JCM800 in the high input, you also have a glorious fat clean sound just by plugging into the low input jack. The perfect clean amp pedalboard platform. It’s a far more versatile amplifier than most people know.
These 2 Marshall JCM800 amps have done hundreds of gigs but were always rock solid and reliable.
Cosmetically the amps have the wear and tear of 40 year old workhorses, however both amps are fully functional and sound like an 80’s JCM 800 should…great.
I have loads of amps and I’m just not using them now. So someone else should use and enjoy these pieces of rock history.

Each JCM800 has had a mix of speakers in these amps. When I purchased them many years ago one had Greenbacks and the other had Celestion 65’s.
Presently one has 2 x Weber British speakers (Weber’s equivalent to the Celestion Greenback) the other has a Weber Blue Dog mixed with a Celestion “Vintage” Neodymium.
Over the years I’ve put various Celestions models in these amps (75’s, Greenbacks, 65, 70/80, JBL’s, 80, 100, v30 etc) EVM’s, Eminence and Webers for tonal variations. I still have many of these as spares so can fit whatever a potential buyer prefers.
Both amps were recently serviced by amp guru Dr Johnson here on the North Coast and given a clean bill of health. Ready to rock for another 40 years.
