The G&L Legacy Deluxe (USA) Electric Guitar brings all of the Legacy features, starting with Leo's PTB (Passive Treble and Bass) system, which functions on all three pickups for dramatically more variety than the vintage setup, while the pull up volume knob offers coil-splitting on the bridge humbucker. The latter has a huge effect on the way distortion pedals and amps respond to the pickups, especially with humbuckers. Cutting some bass makes the pickups sound cleaner, airier, and more dynamic…never muddy…unless that’s what you want.
The Legacy Deluxe features a Leo Fender-designed Dual-Fulcrum vibrato, a work of engineering art that allows bending up or down with unsurpassed stability, while offering a silky feel through its beefy aluminum vibrato arm. The Legacy Deluxe's hard rock maple neck features an easy-playing satin finish with a 12" radius that lets you bend notes easily. Medium-jumbo nickel frets deliver silky playability. The moment you open the deluxe hardshell case, you'll be greeted with a stunning instrument that's ready to plug in and play.
The neck and headstock is highly figured Birds Eye maple and the transparent yellow spalted maple top is super flamey and looks outstanding.
