(SOLD) Vintage 1967 Fender Telecaster
Here we have a vintage 1967 Telecaster in excellent condition.
The Tele has had an Olympic White nitro refinish back to its original colour but the rest of the guitar is original. The nitro refinish was done by a well known Sydney luthier. The paint job is flawless and the guitar body finish looks like new.
Original pickups (they sound like a good Telecaster should), original fender stamped machine heads along with all the other hardware (control plate, neck plate, pick guard has been replaced, strap pins, saddles, bridge plate, knurled knobs etc.
The rosewood neck is straight and in excellent condition. The back of the neck varnish has naturally worn down through play wear (not artificially relic’d) and has a beautiful dark hue with a silky smooth feel. Headstock has also naturally darkened nicely through age.
Frets are vintage spec but have been dressed with loads of life
Comes in its original period correct hard shell Fender case and has the ashtray bridge cover included for those inclined!
Look on Reverb for what these vintage 1967 Telecasters sell for. They range from 12-35k depending on condition, finish and originality.
Not much else to say about this beautiful vintage guitar…except it is a great axe and will suit any discerning buyer looking for a classic old Tele without having to mortgage the house to own it. It will also appreciate in value.
